Refund and Returns Policy

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note the freight and shipping costs for returns is at the customer’s expense (except for faulty items).

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Downloadable Products sold on The Wedding Planner Shop page are exempt from being returned or refunded.

Your subscription begins as soon as your initial payment is processed. Your subscription will automatically renew each month or year without notice until you cancel. You authorise us to store your payment method(s) and to automatically charge your payment method(s) every month or year until you cancel. 

We have the right to change and update your plan’s rate each month or year and we will notify you of any rate change with the option to cancel.

If your primary payment method fails, you authorise us to charge any other payment method in your account. If you have not provided us a backup payment method(s) and you fail to provide payment or if all payment methods in your account fail, we may suspend your subscription. You can edit your payment information any time in your Account page.

Cancellation Terms

You can cancel your subscription any time via your Account page or by contacting Vendor Support. If you cancel within your 7-day free trial, you’ll not be charged. Should you cancel after 7 days, your payment is non-refundable and your listing will continue until the end of that month’s or year’s billing period.

Free Trial Terms: 

The Wedding Planner Subscription comes with a 7-day free trial period. 

This offer is for new The Wedding Planner vendors only and cannot be combined with other offers. One offer per The Wedding Planner vendor. 

If you are placing your order on behalf of your organisation, you represent and warrant that (i) you agree to these terms on behalf of your employer or another entity; (ii) you have full legal authority to bind your employer or such entity to these terms; and (iii) you are responsible for all order or future orders.

Your trial starts immediately after sign-up. At the end of your trial, your subscription begins and The Wedding Planner will automatically charge your payment method, on a recurring basis in accordance with the terms of your subscription. Your eligibility to use The Wedding Planner Subscription trial offer is determined solely by The Wedding Planner. Your access to any trial offer is provided at The Wedding Planner’s sole discretion.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@theweddingplanner.co.nz and send your item to:

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund due to an item being faulty, the cost of return shipping will be refunded.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
